Mariah Carey 'wants to remind the world that she's more than just the Queen of Christmas' with her new album, a music insider tells Us Weekly

L.A. Reid will produce the singer’s next album as part of the new partnership with the company launched by Larry Jackson.

It’s Carey’s first solo, non-Christmas song in six years. In 2019, she released “In The Mix,” an original theme song for ABC’s Mixed-ish. Before that, her last studio album was 2018’s Caution. She also released an album for her Apple TV+ Christmas special and a handful of special anniversary editions of her previous albums in the interim.
