The mother of a 3-year-old girl, who was at the center of an Amber Alert in Delaware, now faces murder charges after reportedly admitting to detectives that she killed her and disposed of her body.

Darrian Randle has been charged with murder just days after reporting her three-year-old daughter, Nola Dinkins, missing. The mom, 31, previously alleged that her child was kidnapped by an armed man on June 10 after she pulled over her vehicle,

After an aborted Amber alert and the discovery of human remains, a Maryland mom has been charged with the murder of 3-year-old Nola Dinkins.

Randle is charged with first and second-degree murder, and first degree of child abuse resulting in death of a minor under 13, as well as additional charges. She was taken into custody at the New Castle County Division of Police, waiting for extradition, authorities said.

Nola Dinkins, 3, was allegedly abducted at gunpoint in Newark, Delaware, on Tuesday and is now the subject of an Amber alert.

Police say a mostly bald white man in his 40s held 3-year-old Nola Dinkins' mother at gunpoint before placing the child in the backseat of an SUV on the 500 block of Gender Road in Newark. Jan Carabeo has the latest.
