The Arizona Wildcats stunned the No. 5 national seed, the North Carolina Tar Heels, and are going to the College World Series.

The University of Arizona baseball team (44-19) secured two of three games from the No. 1 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Chapel Hill Super Regional from June 7-9, punching its ticket to the College World Series for the first time since 2021 as the Wildcats head back to Omaha,

After combining for 26 runs in the first two games, the Tar Heels only managed three runs in the final game to Arizona.
