Lawmakers across the country debate banning cellphones in schools, and it looks like most Americans support the idea.

When Texas students return to classrooms this fall, they’ll see sweeping changes brought on by newly enacted legislation.

Following her speech, Caroline Fairly spoke about how it felt to be the Republican nominee at such a young age. “I think a lot of it has to do with where my values are held in,” she said.

He says getting people in the Texas legislature, such as Fairly, is important. “You can be the biggest help to me by sending reinforcement in the form of Caroline Fairly,” Abbott said.

The same day Caroline Fairly used it to pay back a $250,000 bank loan she had taken out during the final stretch of the race. She reported those transactions in campaign finance filings due Monday.
