In a landmark achievement for India's infrastructure and connectivity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Katra-Srinagar railway line, including the iconic Chenab rail bridge. This fulfilled a long-cherished dream of Kashmir's integration with the nation.

The architectural marvel Chenab rail bridge, situated at a height of 359 metres above the river and 35 metres higher than the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, is a 1,315-metre-long steel arch bridge engineered to withstand seismic and wind conditions.

The Chenab Railway Bridge, the world's highest railway arch bridge, will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi today, June 6. This landmark project will provide direct train service to Kashmir.
