Jaguars place defensive starter on injured reserve
The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without a key defender for at least the next four games. On Friday, the Jaguars officially placed safety Eric Murray on injured reserve. Murray will be eligible to return in Week 13 when the Jaguars take on the Tennessee Titans.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed safety Eric Murray on the injured reserve list, sidelining him for a minimum of four games. Murray, a 10-year veteran, was dealing with a neck injury prior to the bye week and played through the injury but missed multiple practices after the team returned from break.
It was already known the Jaguars would be without rookie receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter after head coach Liam Coen announced Hunter would be placed on injured reserve with a non-contact knee injury. Now, the Jaguars are set to be without another starter as safety Eric Murray was listed as out with a neck injury.
