A daredevil who skydived from the edge of space has died in a freak paragliding accident. Felix Baumgartner reportedly lost control of his aircraft before crashing into a campsite in Le Marche, Italy, having apparently felt unwell before take-off.

Felix Baumgartner, a daredevil and extreme athlete, died on Thursday after a paragliding accident in Italy. He was 56 years old.
