Thirty-two of the world's best men's club soccer teams will compete in an expanded version of the Club World Cup beginning on Saturday.

Al Ain earned their spot in the 2025 Club World Cup by winning the 2023-24 AFC Champions League. Despite their breakthrough continental success, Al-Ain have struggled domestically since Their Champions League win. Third place in Group G would be considered a successful showing.

The summer of soccer will take a new look this year with the FIFA Club World Cup, which comes to the U.S. for the first edition of the expanded competition that will see 32 teams from around the world compete for a share of the $1 billion prize purse.
