Vance and his family have a trip scheduled for the Cotswolds, a countryside region in Southwest England often frequented by the rich and famous (Ellen DeGeneres currently resides there). They’re expected to be met with a wide variety of demonstrators—anti-Trump, pro-Palestinian, trade union members, and environmentalists.
On Thursday’s (July 17) edition of MSNBC’s The Last Word, O’Donnell touched on a recent Wall Street Journal report that alleged that, in 2003, Trump sent Epstein a letter for his 50th birthday that included the line, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret,” in addition to an imagined conversation between the pair.
Vance took to X on Thursday to grouse about the Wall Street Journal ’s reporting on an alleged letter from Trump to the infamous pedophile that was reportedly part of a birthday album for Epstein’s 50th birthday. The greeting is alleged to have included a sexually suggestive drawing and a reference to “secrets” both men shared.
