New details have come out after four people were charged in connection with the death of a 5-year-old Michigan boy who was killed in a hyperbaric chamber explosion.

Troy police say Tamela Peterson ran away when asked for her cellphone after Thomas Cooper died in a hyperbaric chamber fire at the Oxford Center.

The facility where a hyperbaric chamber fire killed a 5-year-old child “held safety among their lowest considerations,” the Michigan attorney general said.
