Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts and Clayton Kershaw expressed their feelings about the Dodgers' rough stretch over the past few weeks.

Betts didn't play Saturday and the Dodgers hope putting him at the top of the order will help the struggling shortstop get back on track.

“In either scenario, a move would allow Betts to return to the outfield, which solves two problems at once. The Dodgers could elect to solve this problem in-house by benching Michael Conforto, moving Betts to right field, and having Miguel Rojas platoon with Hyeseong Kim at shortstop,” they wrote.

The cameo is another step in the public evolution of a player who rarely stepped outside the baseball spotlight during six seasons with the Boston Red Sox.
