KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City will host the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship for the third time as T-Mobile Center welcomes the semifinals and championship games.

The 2025 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship and the American Volleyball Coaches Association convention are taking over downtown Kansas City this week.

The first match, between No. 3-seeded Texas A&M and 1-seed Pittsburgh, saw the college game's biggest stars on display. In the end, the Aggies took a 3-0 win to advance to the national championship match, where they'll play the winner of Thursday's later semifinal between Kentucky and Wisconsin.

Junior outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye hails from Topeka, Kansas, which is about 60 miles west of Kansas City. DeLeye is excited not only to be back in the Midwest, but also to be so close to home.
