Organizers of the "No Kings" demonstrations said thousands had marched in dozens of events across Colorado. In Steamboat Springs, people lined the streets downtown. Protestors held signs above I-25 in Northglenn. People stood on all four corners of this intersection at Erie Parkway on Saturday afternoon.

Demonstrators marched through the streets of Fort Collins June 14 as part of nationwide "No Kings" protests against the Trump administration.

The Houston demonstration is one of several planned in the region throughout the day and is expected to draw thousands of protesters.

Parker town officials cite safety as the reason the rally can't occur at the same time as the town's largest festival, but organizers say it violates their free speech rights.
