India's new generation of T20 stars, Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson, shone brightly in the recent series win against South Africa. Varma smashed back-to-back centuries, while Samson recorded a century in the first match.

Sanjay Manjrekar backed Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma to return to form in the upcoming five-Test series Down Under. The two batters failed in India's shocking 0-3 defeat to New Zealand in spin-friendly conditions at home.

Rohit Sharma led India to the T20 World Cup title in June earlier this year and announced his retirement from the format along with Virat Kohli, who played a knock of 76 runs in the final against South Africa in Bridgetown.
