Southeastern Louisiana had an extended stay in the NCAA Baton Rouge softball regional but the Lions’ trip to the championship round ended quickly in thorough domination.

Nebraska clashed once again with Southeastern Louisiana in the regional championship on Sunday. The Huskers took the regional with an 8-0 win.

Southeastern already accomplished something it had only done once before: defeat Louisiana State University. The Lions upset No. 10 LSU in the opening round of the Baton Rouge Regional, thanks to a 4-3 victory on Friday.
