SEC champion Georgia (12-1, 7-1) is the No. 3 seed and will face the winner of a first-round game between No. 6 Ole Miss and No. 11 Tulane in a College Football Playoff quarterfinal matchup at 7 p.m. Jan. 1 in the Caesars Superdome.

Georgia played in the 2025 Sugar Bowl as it took on Notre Dame. The Bulldogs lost 23-10, ending their season. Gunner Stockton made his first career start against the Fighting Irish that day. Stockton is the only quarterback in the current playoff field to have started a CFP game.

As the Georgia Bulldogs gear up for their Sugar Bowl matchup, the Dawgs could have a secret offensive weapon waiting to be utilized.
