President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pointed out that Russian forces are continuing to carry out deliberate strikes on Ukrainian regions despite the upcoming meeting in Alaska between US President Donald Trump and Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin.

One key party who will not be in attendance Friday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, is Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Trump said Thursday during a press conference that he hopes the summit will lead to a second meeting that would include Zelenskyy.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to London, a day before a critical U.S.-Russia summit in Alaska.
