Two people were buried in an avalanche on Saturday in Big Cottonwood Canyon on Saturday, continuing what has been a deadly and dangerous weeks on the Utah ski slopes.

The eight nearby skiers helped pull the men from the snow before they were taken to a Salt Lake Valley hospital.

A second avalanche has been reported in Big Cottonwood Canyon, injuring at least one person.

There was no immediate word on possible injuries, or an exact number of how many people could be trapped.
