According to RG's James Murphy, two NHL sources told him that the Buffalo Sabres are listening to offers for star forward Alex Tuch. In addition, Murphy reported that one of the sources said that the Bruins are one of the clubs that have expressed interest.
Buffalo Sabres winger Alex Tuch is undoubtedly a big player to keep an eye on this season. The 29-year-old forward is a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA), and the Sabres will work hard to get him signed to a contract extension before the trade deadline gets here.
One center believed to be available is Casey Mittelstadt. However, one notable analyst made it clear that the Bruins center is far from a good option. During an appearance on Frankly Hockey with Frank Seravalli, analyst Craig Button dropped this harsh opinion regarding the Bruins’ top-six forward:
