Amazon Web Services, the world’s largest cloud provider, resolved the issues that plagued its services for about 15 hours on Monday, an episode that highlighted how much of the internet is dependent on the operations of a single company.

Amazon says its services are recovering again after connectivity issues persisted Monday.

The widespread disruption left users unable to access key services across multiple regions, with early indications pointing to an issue originating from AWS.
