With DaRon Bland's season coming to an end, there's a chance the Dallas Cowboys could turn to former All-Pro cornerback Trevon Diggs in Week 16.
The last time Trevon Diggs saw action for the Dallas Cowboys was in Week 6 in a 30-27 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The All-Pro cornerback has since missed eight straight games due to a knee injury as well as a concussion sustained from a home incident.
The Dallas Cowboys are poised to welcome back a key piece of their defense just in time for a crucial matchup. According to reports from NFL Media, the team is likely to activate star cornerback Trevon Diggs from injured reserve ahead of their Sunday showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The defense has been a concern for the Dallas Cowboys throughout the 2025 NFL season. Those worries resurfaced last week in a two-possession loss to the Detroit Lions last Thursday, where the Cowboys surrendered 44 points, tied for the most they've allowed in a game this season.
