Instead of days of dense fog and temperatures near record-highs, the Palmetto State is in store for freezing temperatures, with highs stuck in the 40s and 50s.
Along with a substantial drop in temperatures, the front will also bring a chance of storms to parts of Texas, as well as snow to others.
A strong cold front moved into the Borderland today, bringing a noticeable drop in temperatures, gusty winds, and the potential for wintry weather in parts of the region. Sunday started off mild, but conditions changes as the cold front pushed through.

An incoming cold front will bring chances for isolated showers to northern parts of the Tampa Bay area Sunday. A Dense Fog Advisory is active for Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties until 9 am Sunday due to patchy fog creating little-to-no visibility.
Temperatures will gradually rise overnight into Monday morning, climbing above freezing throughout the region. However, this brief warming trend will be quickly replaced by very windy and much colder conditions on Monday afternoon into Tuesday as a strong cold front moves through the area.
