U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday suspended for an initial six months the entry into the United States of foreign nationals seeking to study or participate in exchange programs at Harvard University,

The judge in Boston said an order was necessary because “it gives some protection to international students who might be anxious about coming here or anxious about remaining here once they are here.”

Harvard University won a reprieve in its fight to enrol international students, after the Trump administration appeared to walk back its initial decertification and a federal judge upheld a block on the government's order.
