The Department of Justice has begun releasing its files on Jeffrey Epstein. The convicted sex offender and wealthy financier was known for his connections to some of the world’s most powerful people, including President Donald Trump, who had long tried to keep the files sealed. The department faced a Friday deadline to release the files.
