When “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” becomes a Linux desktop environment.
As before, you can use three different desktop looks with Mint 20. These are my own favorite Cinnamon, which was inspired by GNOME 2.x; MATE, a fork of the GNOME 2; and the ultra-lightweight Xfce.
I've tried the Google, the linuxmint forums, and the reddit to no avail. I recent installed Linux Mint Mate 20 over top of my 19.3 install. I formated the root drive but kept my home directory.
