DETROIT – Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! will air on Cozi TV on Tuesday as live NBA coverage returns to NBC. Through NBC’s new deal with the NBA, WDIV Local 4 will air the first two games of the regular season Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. An NBA pregame show will air from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

1. After a 23-year hiatus, NBC gets back in the NBA business starting tonight with a doubleheader featuring the Thunder at the Rockets at 7:30 p.m. ET and the Warriors at the Lakers at 10 p.m. ET. NBC, which aired the NBA from 1990 to 2002, is entering Year 1 of an 11-year deal with the league.

ESPN and ABC will primarily cover games on Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays during the 2025-26 regular season. "Inside the NBA" will serve as ESPN's main pregame, halftime and postgame show for its biggest events, but "NBA Countdown" will still air before select games.
