COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State head coach Ryan Day is holding his weekly press briefing with the media Tuesday morning from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The top-ranked Buckeyes will play the Purdue Boilermakers at Ross–Ade Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. and it will air on the Big Ten Network.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State Buckeyes landed in the No. 1 spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2025 season. Unsurprisingly ranked at No. 1, Ohio State has been dominant this season.

Ohio State claimed the No. 1 spot in the initial rankings released by the College Football Playoff committee on Tuesday night, with Big Ten rival Indiana right behind at No. 2.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and Indiana Hoosiers stand alone at the moment, and it was not surprising to see them as the Top 2 teams in the initial CFP rankings.
