A brawl during the Sun Belt Conference women’s basketball tournament led to a referee being inadvertently knocked out by a player.

A brawl between South Alabama and Coastal Carolina in the women’s Sun Belt Tournament on Wednesday left eight players ejected and knocked a referee to the floor where she required medical attention.

Coastal’s Tracey Hueston and South Alabama’s Cordasia Harris exchanged words under the basket.
