CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chopper 7 was over a crash involving a dump truck on Wednesday morning on the inbound Kennedy Expressway. The crash happened around 6 a.m. on the inbound I-94 lanes near Monroe Street, video from Chopper 7 shows. Illinois State Police said the crash happened at about 5:32 a.m. at Madison.

A carjacking ended in a deadly crash on Chicago's West Side on Tuesday night. Police said the vehicle was stolen from the 4200 block of South Artesian, in Brighton Park, around 11:20 p.m.

Illinois State Police responded to a single-car crash around 4:52 a.m. at Illinois State Route 163 southbound near Cemetery Road. According to police, a Toyota car left the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree. The driver was the only individual in the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries, dying at the scene.

The crash happened late Tuesday morning near 105th Street and Avenue N in the East Side neighborhood. Two men being pursued were arrested as were two bystanders. The crash drew dozens of neighbors who protested the tactics of immigration agents.

A sport-utility vehicle was apparently heading east toward Chicago when it crashed between Wolf and Mannheim roads in Hillside.
