The parents and widow of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs reached a settlement Friday of their wrongful-death lawsuit against the MLB franchise over Skaggs' 2019 overdose.

Skaggs, shortly before his death, crushed and snorted a counterfeit opioid pill that Kay had given him that turned out to contain fentanyl, which he combined with oxycodone and alcohol.
