Tyrese Maxey had a chance to be the hero for the Philadelphia 76ers when, down one point, he rose up for what could've been a game-winning jumper. He missed, but VJ Edgecombe put it back in, and that's when Maxey's real heroism began.

Maxey’s dominance, especially down the stretch in games, is certainly nothing new. The Garden felt that way as well, gasping every time he pulled up for a deep three and letting out a sound of defeat every time he buried one. He shot 6-of-12 from behind the arc in the game.

About 30 miles away from where he went to high school, VJ Edgecombe played at Madison Square Garden for the first time. It was a performance to remember.
