The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs enter the series tied for first place in the NL Central and for the best record in the National League.

The cable giant is reaching out to its one million Chicago-area customers Monday to let them know that beginning Oct. 1, the Marquee Sports Network – the pay-TV home of the Cubs – will move to Comcast’s higher-priced Ultimate tier, which costs $20 more per month.

Two of the three games in high-profile August series — at home against the Cubs and Yankees — are scheduled to be shown on “free TV,” with the others on the team’s cable home (FanDuel). There are no exclusively streamed telecasts planned for those series.
