ATLANTA — There’s a potential for winter weather making its way into north Georgia on Wednesday morning. Several north Georgia school districts are canceling classes or going virtual as a precaution for hazardous road conditions. Here’s a list of schools that have made changes for Wednesday.

These are the school districts that have decided to close, delay their start time or have a virtual learning day due to the potential for snow and hazardous road conditions.

Fannin County School System: All schools will be on a virtual learning day on Wednesday. Schools will be closed, but all directors, principals, and 12-month personnel should report on a 2-hour delay. Lumpkin County Schools: All students and teachers will have a virtual learning day on Wednesday.

Some schools, government, and court districts in the Washington, D.C. region are closed or have delayed their opening times on Thursday, February 20, due to the latest round of winter weather.
