A Connecticut teen employed at a Connecticut bowling alley was hospitalized when a pin-sweeping machine trapped the victim Sunday and nearly asphyxiated them.

The teen had attempted to clear the lane when the sweeper bar came down pinning them to the lane, police said. The teen was unable to escape. Due to the sweeper bar’s weight and pressure, the teenager’s breathing became restricted and they loss consciousness.
