On May 2, they confirmed that GTA 6’s release date has been pushed back to May 2026. Yep—another delay. Fans were obviously not thrilled. You could practically hear the collective frustration across the internet as people realized they’d be waiting another whole year to live out their Florida crime fantasy.

The new GTA 6 trailer that just arrived contains multiple nods to PlayStation. Not only was the footage captured on PlayStation 5, but the trailer itself features what look like DualSense controllers and a stand-in for a PlayStation console.

Rockstar says its new GTA 6 trailer does feature gameplay and has garnered more views in its first day than any trailer ever.
