Hezbollah faces new Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon as ceasefire committee prepares to enforce the U.S.-brokered agreement terms by Dec. 31 deadline.

Israel has carried out airstrikes on southern and northeastern Lebanon. Thursday's strikes come as the deadline to disarm Hezbollah looms.

The expanded agreement adds an estimated $3.1 billion to the deal signed approximately two years ago, bringing the total value of the Arrow 3 program for Germany to more than $6.7 billion, making it the largest defense export deal in Israel’s history.
