The Oklahoma Sooners defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 33-27 on Saturday night in what is believed to be a playoff elimination game in the sense that the losing team would be removed from the playoff picture. In odd fashion, Tennessee led in most statistical categories, but timely turnover plagued the Vols down the stretch.

Tennessee started right in the second half by forcing an OU punt and going back up 17-16 on a 54-yard Staley catch and run touchdown where Chris Brazzell II sprung him with a nice block.

Georgia along with Ole Miss, who beat South Carolina, both won in Week 10 to keep pressure on Texas A&M and Alabama, who are both undefeated in SEC play.
