Recently, the Taliban had officially condemned the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, during a high-level meeting with Indian officials in Kabul.

Amid escalation of tension between India and Pakistan, Defence Minister of Pakistan, Khwaja Asif said that nuclear option is not on the table, but if a situation arises, the "watchers" would also be affected.

The meeting at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg residence of PM Modi, was attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Army chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh and Navy chief Dinesh K Tripathi, among others.
