The 25-6 Lobos are led by Mountain West Coach of the Year Richard Pitino. Under his guidance, New Mexico has unleashed a high-powered offense. The production starts with Mountain West Player of the Year winner Donovan Dent. The 6-foot-2 combo-guard averaged 20.4 points and 6.5 assists per game. He ranks in the top 15 nationally in those categories.

The Mountain West men's basketball tournament runs March 12-15 in Las Vegas, with the winner punching an automatic ticket to the Big Dance. Here is the bracket for the tournament.
