Carlos Alcaraz came through a ferocious fourth-round firefight against a red-hot Andrey Rublev to win 6-7(5) 6-3 6-4 6-4 on Centre Court and keep his bid for a third successive Wimbledon title on track on Sunday.

Carlos Alcaraz has stretched his Wimbledon winning streak to 18 matches and returned to the quarterfinals as he pursues his third title in a row at the All England Club.

The Spaniard dropped the first set against Andrey Rublev in the Round of 16, but he came back to win 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, to advance to the quarterfinals. Alcaraz has won 18 matches on the spin at the All England Club.
