Illinois State scores 2 late TDs to knock out top-ranked North Dakota State 29-28 in FCS playoff
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Tommy Rittenhouse connected with Daniel Sobkowicz for two touchdown passes inside the final two minutes and overcame five interceptions to help No. 17 Illinois State upset top-ranked and previously unbeaten North Dakota State 29-28 on Saturday in the second round of the FCS playoffs.
For the first time since 2016, the FCS championship game will not feature North Dakota State or South Dakota State.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Sam Vidlak passed for a career-high 357 yards, Kylon Harris had 183 yards receiving, and Stephen F. Austin defeated Abilene Chrisitan 41-34 on Saturday in a second-round game of the FCS playoffs. Seventh-seeded Stephen F. Austin (11-2) advances to the quarterfinals and will play No. 2 Montana State.
