Halau i Ka Pono, a Hawaiian dance school in Oak Park, Illinois, hopes to maintain the legacy of hula dancing.

Hālau Hula O Nā Pua O Hawai'i Nei is a hula school based out of Eugene, Oregon. Its instructor, Akiko Colton, is committed to creating a space that teaches Hawaiian culture through hula dance.

Aloha Hula Polynesian Dance Studio in Granada hills has been teaching students about Polynesian culture and dance for over 15 years.

Auntie Bernie says she still loves to dance the hula. She is a well-loved and respected elder in the Pacific Islander community. She says Hawaii is a melting pot for so many different nationalities.
