This Technics set, by contrast, is available for purchase and will ship immediately, and is a more stomachable $59.99. Sure, it's 632 pieces to the Icons' 3,601 pieces, but there's something to be said about affordability when nerding out over space.

There are a ton of sets here that are being retired simply because there has been a lack of interest since they were first released, but that's not true for everything. Most notably, there are some key LEGO Harry Potter sets that were just retired that some collectors absolutely don't want to miss.
