This post will tell you what you can do if the bottom half of your Windows computer screen turns black. It could be a driver or hardware problem.

If half of your computer screen is blurry on Windows 11/10, roll back or reinstall GPU driver, change Refresh rate, update monitor firmware, etc.

When it's not plugged in to AC the screen will go black after a few minutes of inactivity and when I press a key to wake it up the desktop is split in half with the top half switched with the bottom.
