JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) — Gov. Tate Reeves set the special election date for a north Mississippi judicial seat. The election is for the Court of Appeals District 1, Position 1, which John Weddle temporarily occupies. The special election date is Nov. 3, 2026. The qualifying deadline is Feb. 2.
