Cooper Flagg had a season-high 35 points and Klay Thompson scored 17 of his 23 in the fourth quarter to rally the Dallas Mavericks to a 114-110 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night.

The Grizzlies continue to struggle with guarding Kawhi Leonard and James Harden. Leonard leads all scorers with 18 points, and Harden has 17. No Grizzlies player has reached double figures in scoring, but Memphis is winning the rebounding battle in part because of center Zach Edey. Edey has 13 rebounds. His career-high is 21.

The injury-depleted Clippers entered their matchup with the Lakers knowing the stakes: survive, or watch their NBA Cup hopes disappear. A Lakers win would clinch the group outright, while the Clippers needed either a Memphis loss or a statement victory to stay alive.
