The German Sport Verein in Peoria hosted their annual German Pancake and Sausage Breakfast at the Lindenhof, offering traditional German cuisine and drinks to celebrate and honor German culture.

The YWCA of Bloomington is ending its Retired and Senior Volunteer Program due to the end of federal grant funding, but is trying to find ways to continue to be involved with seniors in the community.
