Wiggins is the 12th portal transfer for South Alabama in the current cycle, and third offensive lineman. The Jaguars have also added senior Ni Mansell (South Carolina) and sophomore Leavy Johnson (Western Kentucky) since the end of the 2024 season.

Reinforcements are coming along Western Michigan’s offensive line. Zach Vaughan is the latest to transfer to WMU, as the Broncos announced the addition of the former Wake Forest offensive lineman through the NCAA transfer portal –– the fourth offensive lineman to land with WMU football in the winter portal.

The Michigan football team lost offensive lineman Jeff Persi to the transfer portal on Wednesday. Persi has been with the Wolverines since the 2020 season and was a graduate student during the 2024 year.

South Alabama on Saturday added a transfer portal commitment from former South Carolina offensive lineman Ni Mansell. Mansell (6-foot-3, 300 pounds) played in two games for the Gamecocks this past season after redshirting in 2023 due to injury and has one season of eligibility remaining.
