The big focuses of Microsoft’s Build keynote were AI agents, the open agentic web, and Copilot upgrades that aim to solve coding bugs in a pinch. Microsoft’s Azure AI Foundry is also expanding its model list to include Grok 3 and Grok 3 mini from Elon Musk’s xAI.
Microsoft announced during its Build 2025 keynote that it will open source GitHub Copilot in Visual Studio Code and add several new features.
Microsoft's Build conference will take place from May 19 to May 22. Two other tech events are also taking place around that time: Google's I/O conference from May 20 to 21 and the Computex computer expo in Taiwan from May 20 to 23. NVIDIA also unveiled the first update to Isaac GR00T, its foundation AI model for humanoid robots, designed to help them learn and adapt in real time. The latest version, Isaac GR00T N1.5, includes GR00T-Dreams, a simulation tool that creates virtual training environments to accelerate robotic learning.
