GILLESPIE COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — Six days after first breaking out, the Crabapple Fire near Fredericksburg in Gillespie County is now 100% contained, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service (TFS).

As of 4:20 p.m., the Crabapple Fire had moved across Texas 16 North, headed toward FM 1631 in northeast Gillespie County. Fredericksburg Fire EMS.
